No. Matching happens on hashed phone numbers and email addresses, so we can tell you which of your contacts are already here without ever storing their names. You can disconnect contacts at any time, and the match data is deleted with it.
You decide. Connections can be visible to everyone, to your network, to your direct connections only, or to nobody. The same control exists for your contacts, your vouches and whether you appear in search at all.
A short, specific statement of how someone knows you — worked together, hired them, was a client, supplied them. It is the difference between a profile that claims something and a profile that has someone standing behind it. Vouches can be public or private.
No. The answers come from structured systems: profiles, the relationship graph, trust signals, location and events. The model reads what those systems found and explains it in plain language — it never sources a person on its own, and it tells you when the data is thin.
The person in the middle gets your request with a draft message you have already edited, plus the context of why you're asking. They can accept, decline or ask for more information. Nothing is sent to the other person until they accept.
